SPACE-TAXI
------------------------
Version 1.01
SpaceTaxi is freeware. Play it and spread it.
This is a clone from the old game on the C64. There can be up to
three players simultaneously. The third player can control his
taxi via keyboard (Cursor and LeftALT for Fire) or by another
joystick plugged into one of these 4-Player-Adapters.
Keys in the titlescreen:
F1 - 1,2,3 players
F2 - choose Level
SPACE - begin game
ESC - quit
F10 - clear hiscores
InGame keys:
ESC - abort game
P - pause game
Tested on A2000 and A1200, should also run on all others.
Multitasking is switched off only temporary while on gamescreen.
Problems with the music-player:
-------------------------------
Now there are two programversions. SpaceTaxi_VB is the new one and
uses the MED-music-playroutine driven by the vertical-blank-irq.
This has been added to prevent from problems with harddisks
using the same irq-level as the normal MED-routine. But in
VB-Mode the song does'nt sound quite the same (especially in NTSC).
Problems with NTSC:
-------------------
If you've got problems with your NTSC-Display and the last lines of
the screen are hidden, the NTSC-detection-routine may have failed
(it asks for GfxBase->NormalDisplayRows and I guess it is wrong
on some AGA-machines).
Try to start the programm from CLI with one argument
1> SpaceTaxi 1
This will force NTSC-Mode.
History:
--------
v1.0 06/06/94
v1.01 06/20/94
NTSC version only with 236 lines overscan
titlescreen now has got intuition-screen-name "SpaceTaxi"
one version with verticalblank-musicplayer
level 6 (what a silly bug was that)
choose every level
consuming fuel only at thrust
in PAL-mode taxi has to leave screen completely at end of level
